Small batch · Made to order · By hand

Ashley’s a
bad influence.

Gourmet candy apples, bundt and layer cakes, cookies and cinnamon rolls — made one order at a time, from scratch, by someone who takes this personally.

Four things, done properly

No freezer case, no filler. If it’s on this list she makes it herself.

Cakes

Pound cakes, bundts and buttercream layer cakes. Lemon blueberry, white chocolate, Oreo, peach cobbler — glazed and finished by hand, boxed for pickup.

  • Bundt, pound and layer cakes
  • Seasonal flavours, mini bundts for favours
  • Boxed for gifting or pickup

Cookies

Thick, soft-baked cookies sold by the dozen. White chocolate macadamia is the one people ask for by name. Boxed for gifting, with holiday boxes when the season calls for it.

  • Soft-baked, generous chunks
  • Sold by the dozen
  • Gift boxes for holidays

House specialty

Candy Apples

The thing people come back for. Crisp shell, real apple — and any colour you want, so she can match your event. Graduations, team parties, Halloween, baby showers.

  • Sweet, or sweet and sour
  • Any colour, matched to your event
  • Crushed candy, sprinkles and drizzle
  • Custom toppers · individually wrapped · bulk pricing

Cinnamon Rolls

Soft rolls with a proper cinnamon swirl through every layer, baked in the tray so the middle one is as good as the edges. Made the morning they're collected.

  • By the half dozen or the full tray
  • Baked fresh, never reheated
  • Order ahead — trays go quickly

Ashley, owner and baker at Bad Ash Bakery

About

Hi, I’m Ashley.

I started baking for family, then for friends, then for friends of friends, and at some point it stopped being a hobby. Now I make candy apples, cakes, cookies and cinnamon rolls to order for people who want something better than what the grocery store hands you in a plastic clamshell.

Everything is made in small batches, to order, by me. I’d rather turn down a week than rush your cake — so if I say yes, it’s because I have the time to do it right.

How ordering works

Four steps, no mystery.

  1. 1

    Tell her what you need

Send the date, the occasion, roughly how many people, and any photos you like the look of.

  2. 2

    Get a quote

She’ll come back with a price and confirm she’s free that week. Usually within a day.

  3. 3

    Lock the date

A deposit holds your slot. Final details — flavours, colours, wording — get settled here.

  4. 4

    Pick it up

Ready when promised, boxed, with instructions to keep it looking right until go time.
